肖尼 State University participates in the William D. 福特联邦直接贷款计划. This program includes the Direct Subsidized and Direct Unsubsidized Student 贷款, 直接毕业生加贷款, 以及直系家长PLUS贷款. Upon request from students and parents, private 贷款s are also certified and processed for students.
To comply with the 2008 Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), 肖尼 State University has instituted a 学生贷款行为准则 to ensure the integrity and the compliance of the administration of all student 贷款 programs. 肖尼 State University adheres to the following principles:
1. 禁止收入分享
肖尼 State University will not participate in any revenue‐sharing arrangements. The HEOA of 2008 defines revenue‐sharing arrangements as any arrangement between an institution and a lender under which the lender makes 贷款s to students attending the institution (or to the families of those students); the institution recommends the lender or the 贷款 products of the lender; and in exchange, the lender pays a fee or provides other material benefits, 包括收入或利润分成, 致机构, 致其官员, 员工, 或代理人.

肖尼 State University participates in the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program which provides student and parent 贷款s through the U.S. 教育部.
肖尼 State University currently does not utilize a preferred lender list for private educational 贷款s. No lender is given preferred status or is given any advantage in securing potential borrowers. 学生 and parents are free to select the lending institution of their choice.
肖尼 State University will not restrict students from selecting a particular lender, 延迟认证, or refuse to certify private educational 贷款s for our students.
6. 咨询委员会薪酬规则

肖尼 State University 金融援助 Office shall not request or accept any staffing assistance from any lender, 担保人或服务人员.
The 学生贷款行为准则 is based upon Section 493 of the HEOA.
The requirements set forth in Section 493 of the HEOA shall take precedence over any section of this Code of Conduct that is in conflict with Section 493 of the HEOA except that the more restrictive part of either this Code of Conduct or Section 493 of the HEOA shall take precedence over the less restrictive part.
